I have found that my dogs over the years have enjoyed the challenges of advanced training and have excelled in Obedience and Rally competitions. Since I was 8 years old I decided that I would own English Setters. I was attracted to their unmatched beauty and charm. They are eye catching with their unlimited coat patterns and 5 beautiful colors. They possess strength and grace in their purposeful ground covering movement. They have a lovely character and temperament to match their breathtaking exterior.
Athleticism.
English Setters like most sporting dogs possess the desire to work closely with and for their people and they are physically adapted to have great agility and stamina. My English Setter over the years have enjoyed dog sports, especially agility. They are naturals at jumping and have an innate ability to use their bodies well, allowing them to compete well into their older years and avoid reoccurring injuries.
